Hmph. There's nothing worse than getting writer's block when it comes to having a blog. Look at this. I've been going a month with nothing to post here.
But like I said before, it's not because my life is that dull, it's just because I don't really know how to put my troubles down in here. Times have changed, people have changed, and these days I don't really know if anyone even wants to hear what I have to say anymore.
From the way things look now, my life might be taking a harder road to walk down. I can feel that it's about to get rougher from here on in. But I'm doing my best to keep my chin up, and I keep praying to Him to help me get through this.
It's Sunday and I had to go to the office to get some work done. And what are most people doing today? Coming back home from the long Eid holidays. Speaking of which, how did you guys spend your holidays? Had fun? Good, but don't tell me about it, I'll just die of envy if you do.
I guess if there's one thing I'm happy about, is not being sick right now. I had a terrible case of dysentery last week, and I'm sure glad I'm all right now. Strange thing is, I had the same problem around this time last year. Gotta watch what I eat nowadays.
Anyways, a new week and month begin, see you guys soon.

Restless
It has been one nerve wrecking week for me. None of you will even realize how anxious I was all week long. And it's not anxious in a good way.
The thing is, I have a health problem. At least I think so. As in maybe. It hasn't popped up in quite a while, and now suddenly it's back. And it had me worried. So, I'm gonna have to get myself checked out soon by a doctor. I'm hoping it's nothing and I'm getting all excited for no good reason. Just pray for me please. But I'm otherwise fine, so that's that.
And then came another reason to get excited. A good reason this time. The best way for me to put it is: I found her.
If you know me well, you might have an idea of what I'm talking about. It's not a big deal, and using the word 'found' is still inaccurate. I didn't really find her, but now at least I have something that I didn't have before. That's all I'll say about this for now.
I know I'm being really cryptic for this entry, but it's only because I don't want to think too much about the stuff that's going on in my life right now. I've been having trouble sleeping and it's making me tired at the office as a result. I can't afford that, ever. I'm probably just really stressed out, so I'm doing my best taking things one at a time.
Signing off for now. Adios.

The Obligatory Post
I just noticed that I almost let July pass without posting in here. So let's see if I can find anything to say right now.
Healthwise I'm fine, although this morning I woke up with a headache. That's rare, because I usually don't get headaches, and today was the worst time to get one. I was on my way to go see Harry Potter's sixth big screen adventure, and I didn't want to be unwell before going in. Good thing my mum had some Panadol to spare.
The week was okay, except that I had to put up with my very, very, very annoying colleague. I've put up with her for two years now, and it just seems to get harder each day. I mean, how in the world do you deal with someone who's so oblivious? And she has such an excruciating voice, and she won't shut up when I want her to. Sigh. I think I'll stop complaining right now because talking about other people negatively isn't a healthy thing to do. I just need to rant sometimes, I guess.
Oh, there's another thing that's pissing me off. The local TV channel that's screening 24 decided to stop airing it, for no reason. In its place now every week is a movie slot. At first I thought this was temporary since their website still carries the show and states it being aired at its usual time, but this has gone on for a month now. If they had put the show at another timeslot, they ought to let us know. But they obviously haven't, or I would have discovered it already. I gotta ask: do these people even know that the season isn't over yet, and they should finish it before yanking it off the air? If this is temporary, shouldn't they tell us about that too? I've already written a complaint through their website last week, but they haven't responded. So guys, you better get your act together. You call yourself the 'feel good channel', but I am not feeling good at all. In fact, I am thoroughly agitated with you.
That's all for now. It's the weekend, and I think I'm going to try and relax a little. I know I need to. Dos vadanya.

The King Is Dead

Michael Jackson died today. He was 50 years old.
I almost couldn't believe my ears when I heard the news on the way to work this morning. I had found out that Farah Fawcett, the actress passed away, (which wasn't surprising because she was dying from cancer) right before this piece of news came about. I was like, no way. The King Of Pop is gone? Wow.
Michael had sustained a cardiac arrest and fell into a coma, from which he didn't recover from. At the age of 50, it surely is too early to say goodbye to a musical icon like him.
Yeah, the last decade of his life were probably not the best years to remember him by. The child molestation charges, the divorces, the endless series of lawsuits (most of which were probably filed by greedy people trying to cash in on his dwindling fortune) and lots of other controversial headlines turned his life upside down. But there were still people who loved him, and remembered him for his music, which is still legendary and one of a kind till today. I consider myself to be one of those people.
The tributes have come pouring out, from fellow celebrities to fans, and even people I befriended on Facebook who aren't huge fans of his. Everyone knew who he was, because of what he has done. They all remember how special his music was, and they will miss him in some way, or at the very least, feel sorry for his demise. Radio stations have been playing his songs all day, even MTV played a series of his videos earlier tonight, as a tribute.
I wouldn't call myself his biggest fan, but I do love his music. My favourite song is Beat It. It's the one MJ song I can listen to over and over and not get tired. And there's Thriller, Billie Jean, Dirty Diana, Black Or White, Stranger In Moscow...the list goes on. I'm gonna have a different feeling every time I hear these songs now.
RIP Michael.
